Subject: UPPER float/wishbone/contol Arm bushings

These bushings are "shot" on my 86'. I have looked at different manuals that say take it to the dealer, because of spot welding (Haynes), some make it sound fairly easy. The archives is filled with notes on how to do it, but are these people mechanics?

So I am between $600.00 and a hard place.

My questions to the All Mighty List are 1)will I be able to do this, with intermediate ability? 2)Do I need any special tools? 3)Is there a cheaper deal in the Seattle region?

I am aware of a compression tool to get the bushings on, but this was avoided by using a longer bolt in the archives. Is this person still alive?

Thanks for any thoughts y'all have.

Bryan
