I wonder if faster heating is better, worse, or neutral for the head gaskets. I know there have been many claims that the heat up & cool down cycle is partly responsible for the head gaskets deteriorating. Just my gut instinct says that the faster heat up may be bad for head gasket life. Something to think about...
