That was the biggest pain of all when I redid the heads on my 85. What's with that screwy 1.5" hose that covers that 1/4" of space between the housing nipple and the head nipple????? The nightmares are starting to return. Broken bolts, taking it to the shop to be machined. Guy saying weren't you here last week? Turns out some other hapless soul had the same thing happen, and I think his was an 85, too. Mine's leaking a little now, but I'd rather it drip than try tackling it til the weather stays nice. They must have changed the design after '85, right? What a mess....
