It's not just the wires, it's the headlight switch and the bulb holder contacts too. I STRONGLY suggest you read about this on the Stern Lighting web site at http://lighting.mbz.org/ . He strongly recommends against the larger bulbs in the stock 9004 bulb holder. Yes, you would be well advised to run new wires and relays and find bulb holders with larger contacts (but I don't think you will find these.). Hello; I found a source of 100W/80W headlight bulbs at a performance shop here in BC, will I have to install relays to handle the extra current? I decided to try one to see if the wires can handle it. or should I take the chance? Larry
