My only possible reservation on this would be fire....I'd keep it away from
anything hot. But I'm sure the interior burning would make toxic gasses too.
There is, what looks like; a tar coated foil that is supposed to quiet
vibration and sound in body panels. That might be a good choice for doors where
clearence is an issue (window regulators and speakers) I'd also imagine water
wont have any effect. I've seen it in JC Whitney under "insulation" near all
the custom van interiors. I think I'll try this route- my 2 cents....Joel: 82
