I should have called it "smoother gear transitions" rather than "shifts" I am not talking about the actual shifting but the transition between gears. My van would not buck or have a lack of power in the next gear until @3000rpms. I had flat acceleration. My AFM defaulted to the "limp home mode" where it was a default signal. When I would shift then apply gas the van would buck or not have the power to accelerate correctly. After the new AFM the engine has power at lower rpms to improve the "shifting between gears" Robert
