If your low on funds, don't drive a syncro. hah hah. The ultra-low budget minded person with too much time on their hands would take the front axles out, leaving the outer CV housings intact, to support the wheel bearing. This will solve your driveline problem and save you gas, at the cost of traction you probably don't need anyway to get to work. > -----Original Message----- > From: Vanagon Mailing List [mailto:vanagon@gerry.vanagon.com]On Behalf > Of Ravicka V > Sent: Thursday, March 11, 1999 7:50 PM > To: vanagon@GERRY.VANAGON.COM > Subject: Need front axle ! > > > Hi! > I quickly need a front axle with good C.V. joints to fit an 87' > Syncro. > Unfortunatly I am very low on funds (rough at work), but I need this car > to get me to work.
