Oh no, man! Youre definitlynot alone on this one. It is a desease called Volkswagenitis. I've got it too, and I'm proud of it!! The big advantage is, there is no cure what so ever. My difference from you is, I check out every VW I see! I'm not kidding, my best friend is 100% sure I am crazy, everything from a plain 85 Golf to an old bug, a Vanagon up to the newest Jettas. What do I look for?? I dunno! I even roll down the window of my car, just to hear the pea-shooters whistleing, on a passing bug.
