Seems strange that several days after posting the question about max. temperature in engine compartment of watercooled Vanagon in a hot day after long drive, nobody responded. Any info will be appreciated. Ark.

Please don't take this the wrong way, but maybe no-one on the list knows the answer to your question. Why do you what to know?
