Subject: 87 Oil leak
Content-type: text/plain; charset=US-ASCII

I would like some help from my fellow readers. My 87 WBX has started a new oil leak. It seams to be coming from the oil fill tube at the transition between the metal and plastic portions. The leak does not appear to be coming from the front (rear of van) engine oil seal. Does anyone out there know if this leak indicates other problems such as ring-blowby pressure forcing oil up into this tube and what may be the course of progression to such a problem? The van is at 105K miles and still holding it water! Thank you

Stephen, 87 Wolfsburg
