Bill, sorry I didn't get back to you earlier - email problems.

1987 vanagon GL synchro
New VW engine - 4000Km (full North America Wide Warranty - install & parts -
20,000K or Nov 99)
new water pump, clutch, roof seal, computer replaced, front blower replaced.

Pioneer stereo with 6 CD changer.
air conditioning, power windows/locks/steering, tinted windows (can you
believe the people who bought a/c as an option instead of a furnace ?)

Set of snow tires, and virtually new all seasons (all bought and used
together).
synchro was checked and is very good, differential lock works just fine.

Some seam rust and a little panel rust low down towards rear of vehicle.
Some  2-3 years of history from an excellent volks specialist (Vancouver).

I have to say this van is about travelling in style, but then we all have
our soft spots !
price - 18,400 canadian dollars / 12,000 USD (or exch rate).
