Subject: Beware of "hot/cold Igloo coolers "
Content-Type: text/plain; charset="iso-8859-1"

I had one of these units and IMHO they should aptly be described as Coolers or warmers, as in 20 degrees "cooler" than the outside temp. These are not refrigeration units by any stretch. On a 90 degree summer day that potato salad "cooled" to 60 degrees is still a petri dish for botulism. That is probably why they are on sale in the middle of winter when it is 25 degrees outside. In theory, right now the unit is a portable "freezer". Sorry for my ranting, but I wish I had never bought one.
