Has Burning Man always been a pay-for event? Sort of takes away the anarchist image I had of Burning Man (never been there). 100 bucks to hang out in a baking dry lake bed? I don't quite get it....I mean it sounds interesting and I'm sure it's a very eclectic crowd but I think I'll take 3 days in Maine with Phish, hang out w/ interesting, eclectic people and hear some great music to boot. Mark
