Subject: Audi gauge cluster installation

Greetings all.

Well, after carefully twisting & pulling I got the heater panel off. I was dismayed though to find I could only fit 2 gauges in below the diff lock panel. The heater pipes are in the way. I was also hoping to use the Audi panel with the angled holes. I may still use it by trimming one slot off. On the back of the heater panel there are support/flex braces which interfere with cutting. Does one cut through them or just mount the gauges down low? Any advice appreciated. -- R.Feuerriegel 88 syncro
