Subject: Dealing With Seam Rust: Solutions?
Content-Type: text/plain; charset="iso-8859-1"

Hi Everybody:

Yes, my Westy is also showing very light seam rust, which I would like to deal with.

Now, I would like to discuss possible short and long-term solutions.

1: Are there any easy short term solutions? I am wondering if there is a product that will, at least temporarily, "wipe" the surface rust off? (This may be pure fantasy, but, a listee may have a solution)

2: For the long term solution, what are the reasonable options? Is there anything one can do to stop the rust from progressing? If you have rust, is it terminal?

BTW: We just returned from Grand Forks ND, and the Westy performed beautifully! Any listees in Grand Forks for my next visit?

BTW, Pt.2: My Westy gets admiring glances and comments from all sorts of people, and I had the good fortune to turn a Westy-Owner-Wanna-be to our list for advice on buying one.

In my opinion, FWIT, (and does it really matter?), people think Westies are cool!

Marshall Ruskin 84 Westy, Tres Cool!
