Greetings all. I have used Bi-Tron oil products for a couple of years now. There are other vanagon owners here on the island which also use it. The 2-4-6 treatment went in both front diff and tranny.. Smoother shifting was noticeable right away. I also use the oil product for the engine. I tried the gas treatment and honestly did not notice a difference in my mileage, but other users here who drive vanagons claim their mileage is better. What I like about it is the fact that is only oil, nothing else. It is attracted to metal and heat, where as reg oil tends to moves away from from friction heat. Try this little experiment at home. Fill a glass jar with water, drop in a metal bolt or whatever, put in a few drops of Bi-Tron oil formulation. The oil will find the metal. Here on Vancouver Island this product is a big hit with inboard marine engines. Fishing boats etc. My Cdn .02 cents worth. No, I am not a distributor. -- R.Feuerriegel 88 syncro |
