exactly. all of us are ignorant.  just about different things. if
you think you know it all, then what do you need the rest of us
for?? there are only TWO ways to learn something: make the
mistakes yourself, or watch (hear about) someone else making them
instead. it's far cheaper to watch someone else. besides, you
won't live long enough to make all the mistakes yourself. :)

if you don't ask, you won't get an answer. it doesn't mean that
if you DO ask, you WILL get an answer. sometimes the rest of us
haven't done that yet either.

exactly. count the number of flames ... now figure the percentage
of folks on the list (about 700). so even if 7 people smart off
with some non-helpful comment, that's only one percent.

seriously, if you don't ask, you aren't likely to get an answer.
and just ignore the smartasses who don't answer helpfully. and if
you can't answer helpfully, why answer at all?
