This may sound like prejudice on my part but as I talk to a bunch of folks about conversions here is what I have heard about the Subaru conversion: Ground clearance is reduced by a good deal. Folks have had problems with the KEP adapter plates cracking. They said something about the adapter plate bearing all of the load of the engine. I would think that there should be an engine carrier for this conversion but I don't know. Have fun with the wiring! Supposed to have decent power and reliability but I don't think anyone has had one installed for longer than 20k miles at this point so time will tell. Ken Wilford Van-Again John 3:16
