Subject: Leaking Gas Tank and Oil Leaks

Are there any easy fixes for a leaking gas tank? The tank seems to leak near the place where gas goes in. It only leaks when the tank is full. If I fill that the tank all the way, I end up loosing a quarter tank of gas.

Also, I've had an oil leak on the push rod repaired with a collapsable tube. However, there is still a slight leak, but on the other side (got the right side repaired, the leak is coming from the left). The leak is coming from the left side of the engine casing, dripping off a piece that sticks out a bit. Could this be coming from a faulty tube on the right?

Is it acceptable/normal for an '84 to be dripping a small amount of oil? Could this oil be from the previous drip? I.e., the oil was on the engine casing and is still dripping after about 4 weeks.

Thanks.
