Subject: Idle at 2k rpm w/ AC on - why?
Content-Type: TEXT/PLAIN; charset=US-ASCII

My idle does not drop below 2000 rpm while the AC is on. If I reach up and shut off the AC the idle goes back down to about 900 or so. This happens when the engine is warm, at first it was intermittant but now it happens all the time.

What's the likely cause of this? What's the connection between the AC and the idle curcuitry?

Any ideas appreciated...

Aloha,

Gordon Smith Honolulu

(... yes it's warm enough to use the AC here...)
