Subject: Wolfsburg parts into regular Vanagon?
Content-Type: text/plain; charset="US-ASCII"

Does anybody have experience putting the Wolfsburg Ed. Table into a regular GL(91)?

I wonder if the necessary fixures for attaching the Table to the sidewall come standard underneath the side panel, or whether this requires welding...?

Also, how about exchanging a Wolfsburg Tachometer for the regular clock? Is the cable to the engine part of the standard wiring trunk, and is just not used on a non-tacho vanagon? And if somebody knows this, would you also know the color of this wire?

Thanks so much in advance. I am sure somebody thought about this before. We just bought this wonderful '91 Synchro non-westy, but we now long for some of the Wolfsburg/Carat features that didn't come with our baby...However, I also bought an 87 Wolfsburg AT for our Company, and the company doesn't need the table or the tacho...
