I found the cleaning method to be rather barbaric.

He suggests spraying brake cleaner into the cv to remove the old grease.
Even says do this over a neighbors yard, since it kills grass.  Sure does,
also contaminates the ground water and atmosphere.

A much cleaner and cheaper method is to fully disassemble the cv's and
simply wipe the heavy grease out with some paper towels.  This works
surprising well, costs nearly nothing and doesn't poison anything.

The downside to my technique is greasy paper towels laying in a landfill and
killing a couple trees to make the paper.
Seems much better than letting highly volatile chemicals leach into the
ground and pollute the air.

    The link below proves why Internet is dangerous place to get and follow
the advice. I was horrified to see the barbaric treatment of a very delicate
part.
    My teacher Ieronim Ioachim Hagedorn Freicherr von Steinhofen would  have
said "Only in America" and suffer nervous breackdown.
    Why not to see a professional mechanic with a heavy German accent?
