I'm open to all sorts of advice here. Thanks to Karl Bloss for giving me a shoulder to cry on over the weekend. I'd like to know, is there anyone out there (even the dealerships) who can do a diagnostic on the ECU to tell you if it's OK? I mean, I know there is at least one place that will let you trade your old one in, and sell you a remanufactured one for around $400 US, but I'd like to know if mine is worth keeping as a spare, or if it's really bad in the first place, I mean, I hate to ship it away for a core trade-in without certainty that my mechanic is correct. Also, can someone forward me Daryl Bohler's (sp?) address etc... I might be into getting a digitool. If someone has a good spare for sale, let me know. My van ran fine before my mechanic recently pulled the engine to do some other maintenance, so I'm little suspect of the problem being a loose ground strap. Thanks |
