Wondering what (if any) emissions obstacles the 2.6l 5 cyl. might need to overcome with the Calif Air Reources Board,, seeing as it's an engine not normally sold in California. Detlev and others, I've been following the 5cyl. discussion with a lot of interest, and when my 90 GL croaks I'd be interested in the 5cyl. conversion, but I'd like to know how things stand regarding getting it smogged in California. I understand I'd need a 1990 or newer engine for my 1990 GL, what else do I or you need to do to satisfy CARB reqs? Graham 90 GL Country Homes camper conversion
