Tony, I replaced the water pump 3 times in my '85 caravelle. Relatively simple. I didn't have air con or power steer on mine. I have also just done the pump on my '90 caravelle which seemed easier which has air and power steer. It shouldn't take you more than 3hrs with basic tools. Most importantly, don't overtighten the belt otherwise you will be doing it again real soon. Good luck.
