Hi Everybody: My Westy is too tall to get into the underground parking here, and boy, does it get cold in Winnipeg! Since we've been on the topic of springs lately, is there a satisfactory way to lower the van, and if so, by how much can it be safely lowered? I do not use my van off-road, so that's not an issue. The only concern I have is if it will impact the cargo carrier (carrying Karen's 120 lb scooter) IF I EVER get a receiver hitch! ;) This outdoor situation was livable, but I've got a new car parked next to me, and it is really tight for parking. He's been warned about potential door dings from me (I can only open the door about 16"), but I guess he thinks his car is immortal. (He's about 22 and cocky). Anyhow, so, is it possible to lower a Westy, and by how much? Cheers! Marshall Ruskin 84 Westy |
