I have an 89 Carat AT with 187K miles. I have a small coolant leak at the coolant level sensor. It looks as if the coolant is leaking up the 2 poles into the rubber grommet where the wires are connected. There is no coolant on top of the well of the coolant bottle where the sensor is mounted. In the morning, on initial start up, the flashing coolant light takes a long time to go out. If I unplug the coolant level sensor wire and blow it dry then everything works fine for a couple of days. I have replaced the coolant level sensor and the coolant bottle top (cap), with no change in symptoms. Has anyone experienced this? Any ideas would be appreciated.
