Since there is a thread about this already, Where do you place jack stands under the front of the van? On the rear, there is a solid beam next to the jack points, on the front, there are two beam edges which are spaced too far apart to both get on the stand. Do you just use one of these edges, or perhaps put a wood block between them? Also, Since the drain plug for the Trans is on the rear of the Trans, does jacking up the front help when draining the Trans? (4sp manual) Thanks, Vernon '90 Standard Vanagon |
