Tim; Pull of the vacuum hose from the fuel pressure regulator. If any sign of gasoline you need to replace the regulator. A hole in the diaphram will allow gas to be sucked into air manifold and then flood the cylinders. This condition will wash the oil film off the walls and lead to excessive ring wear.
