Well, I decided to fix mine also. It just needed cleaning. A simple ohm test will tell you if it is the bulb or the socket is building up with corrosion. So far (twice), for me, it has been corrosion build-up and not the bulb. One on the front of my 85 and one on the rear of my 82. I find this interesting...
