It is quite simple to adjust these lights

Find a level parking lot next to a building. Park your Van so the headlights are 25' away from the wall. Turn the low beams on. The light pattern, and please excuse my ASCII is something like:

__/ __/

at the "bend" in the light pattern should be 2" lower than the center of your lights on the Vanagon and the same distance apart. Some people say 3" lower but I use 2" and none of the oncoming cars seem to mind my lights.
