I live not far from Chico and work even closer. I have info on a
self-serve auto dismantling yard at: 530 343 5590
and the address is: 381 E. Park Avenue  Chico


Being a college town, there are numerous older VW's in the area so I'm
sure you will be able to find a few parts.
