Sorry about what? Dude, I'm happy! So they forgot to mention the Road Hazard coverage when I bought the tires, big deal.

Here's what Sears COULD HAVE said: "I'm sorry about your loss Mr. Lukey, but we cannot repair sidewall damage. We can order you a new tire. It will cost 70 dollars and take a week to arrive. I'd recommend you purchase the Road Hazard coverage to handle any problems in the future."

Sears had me over a barrel on this one, and they knew it. I'm going to drive around with 3 Yokos and 1 Les Schwab? Not. They could have extracted a hundred bucks from my purse and there's not a damn thing I could do about it.

But they didn't. They did the right thing. Sears did the right thing.
