The only way it would be a different Temp. stat, is if the parts people screwed up, and ended up maching one up by eye. Even so the 80 deg c VS 87 deg c, is hard to find.

In time the cooling system will self bleed out the extra air and it will be back to normal....assuming everyhting is working properly.

One last note. If your temp. gauge reads just below the center of the LED, as your going down the highway on a 70 deg f. day, there is nothing wrong with your thermostast.
