I use the Honda EX-650, camping generator coupled to my Toyotomi TID 1200 for A/C and 110V power while remote camping. It is outstanding. It is key that you purchase -quiet- generator or you will be person non grata to those more granola, tent-camping types you may find yourself mingling with. This point is imperative. The EX-650 runs under load at only 54DB, this is barely noticeable. Most other small generators produce noise in the 70DB range, this will get you run off and would be unallowed after say 10PM at most state/national parks.
