What are you apologising for when you yourself were as much a victim of the guy who created the virus as the rest of us would have been? No apology necessary. It was the virus that sent the virus out; not you. You did not want it any more than the rest of us. Exposure to virusis (viri?) is just one of the hazards of the internet. In the spirit of an old bumper sticker; "Excrement Occurs". That this particular excrement occured to us may be a good thing in the long run as it has reminded us that there is a lot of considerably smellyer excrement out there then the one that occured to us. We now know to keep our hip boots on. -----Original Message----- From: Vanagon Mailing List [mailto:vanagon@gerry.vanagon.com]On Behalf Of Steven Cu Sent: Mon, March 29, 1999 6:37 PM To: vanagon@GERRY.VANAGON.COM Subject: Apologies to the list
Listees, I would like to apologize for the Virus (Happy99.exe) I unknowingly sent out thru email, apparently somebody from the US emailed me and I opened an attachment thinking it was a harmless greeting card. I was able to remove it through instructions from a friend. Again, my apologies.
