Is the throw out bearing supposed to ride on the pressure plate fingers with the clutch released? The clutch slave cylinder seems to be spring loaded to keep the throw out bearing against the pressure plate fingers. The pretty pictures in the Bently manual seem to agree with this. I see no spring to hold the bearing back. For some reason I expected the throw out bearing to be pulled back when the clutch is released. Please advise.
