Haven't seen this guy but I do remember a post a while back on the type 2 list that talked about building a wood/charcoal stove for heat in a bus. I do think it was serious. The plans made sense and looked like they'd work although I think you'd have to be mostly insane to do it (and people think gas heaters are dangerous.....).
