For those of you that don't already do this, I would recommend keeping an assortment of different size hose clamps in your van just in case. Last Friday my van started hesitating on the highway and I saw that the gas level was suddenly on empty. I ran out of gas at the top of an exit ramp trying to get to the nearest gas station. It turns out that a fuel line had worked itself loose from the crimp-on hose clamp and the van spewed all of the gas out of the tank. I found that the small 50 cent screw-on hose clamp that I had in the van just in case came in real handy here and it put me back on the road again. Steve 89 Westy |
