Take a cell phone with a roaming package, pay a little extra for AAA platinum, and carry a bottle of Moroso Ceramic Block Sealer (if you need it tell the local gas station mechanic to follow the instructions on the bottle. Can be found at any local speed shop.) The Moroso will fix any leaks you may encounter. If the engine was taken care of at all otherwise with only 60k miles on it, you should'nt have any other problems. Have much fun. I did this trip last summer with my friend and Grandmom in a '87 Westie with only 45k miles! Ken Wilford Van-Again John 3:16
