Driving with the pop-top skylight open - We've done it occasionally, and it is quite effective in ventilating the van, but the skylight flutters a lot in the wind, and I worry that the plastic skylight and opening mechanism will fatigue and crack faster (the plastic does eventually from the sun, anyway).
