Here in New York, we are assailed by motorized leaf-blowers, sometines 24 hours a day (yes, its not unknown for people to do it in the middle of the night). These sound like a motorcycle revving up right outside our windows. Only the dead of winter gives us a little peace, unless it snows, and then its motorized snow blowers.

If I went camping for peace and quiet and was disturbed by a generator, I would be MIGHTY angry.
