So I had a droopy/loose exhaust on my 82 westy. The joint between the muffler and the Cat. came loose along with the brackets holding the muffler to the Crossover Pipe. I used two hose clamps around the muffler and crossover pipe are now holding the muffler tight. A couple of quick spot welds and and a new muffler clamp and it shoud pass the dreaded inspection tomorrow. Cost $2.53 for 2 long clamps at Evco House of Hose. I hope the emmissions goes well also.
