My local flaps sells a flex tubing that is split down the middle so you can open it and put wires in and it protects them form rubbing etc. It comes in a few sizes... I just used some for a hidden kill switch, and a new trailer wiring job. Works well... think it's call RV wire protector... or something like that. Look around the wiring dept. in a large Flaps or RV store.
