I would try to find someone who can sew in screens and flaps without removing the canvas first. A possible good choice, if you live near the ocean or big lake is a marine sail maker - most do covers and are very familar with canvas and do a lot of hand sewing - they may be able to do the job without removing the canvas from the vehicle - worth asking anyway.

I just ordered a canvas from her (Dawn Smyth) - I can let you know how it is to install in a month or so after I complete the job.
