I'm thinking about having the windows tinted in my 84 Westy. I'd like to hear from anyone else who has had it done. 1. How much did it cost

Any and all comments would be appreciated Thanks, John

John, I had my 82 Vanagon done today. Quote was for $190.00 plus tax for all windows with lifetime of vehicle warranty. It took a local shop (Oklahoma City) about three hours. It broke down as $105.49 for tint and $99.50 for labor plus tax. I noticed all cars with less total glass but more curved glass got charged more for labor. They did comment they liked the large expanses of flat glass. There was an extra category on the invoice for having to do a two piece rear window. I was not charged for that in that they did a one piece rear window. I was told, "Don't touch film or roll down windows for four days. Wait 30 days for total curing of film. After that any problems bring back for warranty." These guys have been in business for years. They do car alarms and such. They are Texas based and have shops all over. They had four levels of tint. I'll park the van for a while and drive the assorted GM stuff. To see van and the GM stuff goto: www.Eckie.Prater.com

Be aware of big slow loading pictures. Regards, Eckie Prater
