Warm weather has crept in to our fair Upstate New York area, bringing with
it daydreams of summer bar-b-ques, beer by the pool, the relaxing game of
golf, routine lawn maintance, and the elimination of the few, insedious
rust spots that call my bus home.  Over the weekend, just prior to going to
the local driving range with my father-in-law, I stopped by a body shop and
asked if they could get rid of the rust and repaint just the patched areas.
Well, Vern (no joke!) said they could do it but it'd look like sh@&.
Better to do the whole thing.  Remove all the windows and bodywork, strip
paint to bare metal, repair rust spots, fill in if necessary, prime, paint,
and reassemble.  Probably run about $3500 to $4500, maybe more.

Now this shop was recommended to me for the good work they do.  The place
where I bought my bus uses them to do misc. bodywork on the VW's, M-B's,
Saab's, Volvo's, ans BMW's they repair.  If I had the dough - or won the
lottery - I wouldn't hesitate.  And it's not a question of them trying to
rip me off.  Ya get what ya pay for.  But all I want is to get rid of the
rust.

My question:  Are there any adventurous sorts out there that have repaired
the rust on their bus' and can lead a novice by the Dremel tool with some
sort of step-by-step instructions?
