If you are referring to the vents just behind/incorporated in the rear windows, my opinion is that they don't work at all. When the fan is running at position #3, there is really a high pressure in the van, but hardly any air comes out of these vents. Of course, they can be filled with dust, there is some foam in them, but still.....
