Did you add the spacers because of the wide tires you are mounting?

I saw a audi 5000 Turbo in the junk yard on Friday.

I was just wondering how much of a pain dealing with making them work/fit is. The hardest part looks like enlarging the center (hub) hole. Any one done this by hand (or hand held die grinder)? How much metal has to be removed?

Chris?

I'd rather not pay $25 to make a $25 rim fit if I don't have to. And being New England here everything costs more it seems.

One rim out of the 4 is bent so I'd still have to just get three for now and hope on finding another, this is holding me off also.

I called the dealer to get a price of the center cap (are the users of the audi rims using the center caps?) and the cap price was $28 ish ea. The audi rim was $355 ouch.

Any responces would really help me decide to get them or not.

Thanks Rob
