I replace all of the gas lines in the engine compartment for under $40, a
guess it was a month or two ago.

I found that the 7.9 mm is a bit easier to fit onto the fittings than the
7mm, even the 7.9 will be tight here and there (the t near the oil breather
for example) This high pressure fule line is $2.99 a foot and the hose
clamps for fuel inj. are $2.99 for 4 at your basic parts store. I did not
replace the small lines going from the fuel rail to each injector, but I do
have extra hose/clamps if it starts leaking. I only did up in the engine
area. it's plastic from there to the fuel filter then it seems like the
diamater of the line gets larger from the filter to the gas tank.

You can do it.
